(a) To formulate the project Regional needs keeping in view the availability of resources and to recommend the Annual Regional Development Plan for Annual Five Year and Perspective Regional Plan. |

(b) The role and scope of each individual RPDC and the relationship and co-ordination between the MEDC and the two RPDCs since the MEDC already exist as the overall Planning body for the State of Meghalaya? |
(b) The RPDC deals with Regional Planning, while the MEDC's role relates mainly to economic and industrial policies for fostering economic growth and for attracting investments in the State. |

No, Sir. There is no power shortage in West Garo hills. Also, there will be no power shortage in West Garo Hills even after electrification of New Villages under the Rural Electrification Scheme. |
