The setting up of a separate Passport Office, is under the preview of Government of India, the State Government will however take up with the Central Authorities for Expeditiously setting up such an Office at Shillong. |

(a) The selection of site for the headquarter of Tikrikilla Development Block at Darenchigre was done at the land donated free of cost by the Nokma of Matchokolgiri Akingland, reflected the aspirations and desires of the local people. |

(b) Whether it is a fact that the construction works for the same Head Quarter was left half done ? |
(b), (c) & (e). The construction work of the buildings is not complete because of the misappropriation of funds meant for it to the tune of Rs.80 lakhs. |

the Central Agricultural University at Umiam ? |
The Department had handed over land measuring 64655.6 square meters (15.9767 acres) at Umktieh (Umiam) to the authorities of the Central Agricultural university (CAU), Imphal, for establishment of the College of Post Graduate Studies in Agriculture. The CAU authorities had informed that they have taken steps for permanent fencing of the plot, infrastructure development, etc. |
